                                                                   LOOSE LEASH WALKING

Walking your dog is one of the best things you can do with your dog but it is also one of the most challenging behaviors we ask our dog to learn.

Dogs want to run around, sniff, chase things, eat things and experience the endless variety of scents, sights and sounds the environment has to offer. We plod along on the boring sidewalk expecting them to plod quietly at our sides and ignore all the temptations around them.

In this class we will explore ways to make walks exciting and fun for your dog and you!

Leash Walking Manners Class begins Saturday Oct 1. The session is three classes on Saturdays

TRICKS CLASS
Why Teach Tricks?

If you consider your pet as part of the family, teaching tricks is a must for you and your dog.

Teaching tricks is about having fun and being a little silly, but has the added benefit of strengthening your dog’s ability to focus on you and on the task at hand.

Teaching your dog to roll over or play dead may seem a little frivolous until you realize that in order to do those tricks your dog must have some basic understanding of the Sit or Down Cue.

Dogs that can perform tricks are generally perceived as friendly to most non-dog people, which can help make a timid person feel comfortable around your dog.

Class starts Thursday September 22, at 7PM. The session meets every Thursday for six weeks from 7 – 8PM.
